Oh, no. :) I'm Russian. :) And I have no latvians in my family... My ancestors by mother's family are russian noblemen (after revolution in 1905-1907 they lost their rights) and by father's family - germans, poles, belarussians and englishmen. Telling the truth, I don't like living here in Latvia, and I don't like Latvian language too. x_x' I wish I live in England or in USA with my granny. She's from Miami.

You have quite a broad background. Interesting. :) The US has it's good and bad parts. I'm a political activist so I know all the bad ones, but there's much good here too.

Always enjoy speaking with people from different nations and cultures, though. You might call me a xenophile. :)

I think, politics is bad everywhere... but atmosphere and spirit of countries are very different and varied. I don't like the atmosphere here... :( It looks foreign for me... and atmosphere in other Baltic countries and Russia too.
Once I was in England. It was fantastic... of course, there are many minuses, for example finding work there, but I felt great there! It was like my dream came true.
It is bad that there is only English... Bad because I used to hear only Russian\Latvian everiwhere. :( I want to know English like I know mother tongue, but it is kinda difficult for me... In respect that I wish to know not only English, but some other languages too. xD Talking about that, I'm learning four languages at school. It is Russian, Latvian, English and German. I like it, but is very hard. We have all of those subjects every day, and I can't normally "switch" my brains for every language. x(
But generally, I wish to know only Russian and English. And I'm really shamed because of my mistakes in English... :( I wish to speak ideally. :D

No problem! I am really starting to like the little Russian Gryphon contingent. :}

I've known a few Russians in my day. Very nice people, earthy sense of humor, and one of them introduced me to the weirdness that was Ну, погоди! Never realized that there were gryphons among you, though! :)
